Our Family & Military Roots
We are a family- and veteran-owned business. Our story began in the early 90s, when my husband and I were both playing college sports and met in the athletic training room. Sports and athletics have always been a huge part of our lives. My husband, Chad, went through Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Pensacola, FL, and I taught fitness classes on military bases through the Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR) program. We continued our lives and our fitness journey.
Our Son’s Journey
Our oldest son was born in 1998. Engaging in fitness looked different at this point, but little did we realize how his life would impact our journey. He lost all language at 2 years old, started walking on his toes, and began spinning in circles without getting dizzy. It was the vacant stare that was the most concerning and heart‑wrenching. At 4, after many different therapies, he began speaking again. At age 6, he was officially diagnosed with autism.
Walking by Faith
We are a family of faith in God and realized from the beginning that we could not walk this journey alone. We needed His guidance and His strength. Our son was involved in Unified Sports in high school and loved the community he received from these experiences. A couple of years after high school, he developed epilepsy, which began a new learning curve and a renewed reliance on God’s protection and provision.
All Abilities in Action
In 2022, I became the Director of All Abilities for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in the Southeast Region of the U.S. I began offering weekly All Abilities Activity Time, as well as a camp of almost 100 athletes, giving them the opportunity to participate in different sports adapted to their unique needs. Outside of being a wife and mom, this was the most fulfilling role I have ever had. Seeing these individuals have the chance to participate in athletics and fitness is so exciting. The confidence they gain, along with the coordination and strength for everyday activities, is priceless.
Why We Started Fit4All
That brings me to where we are today. I became a Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator and earned my Certified Adaptive Personal Trainer certification in 2023. After teaching numerous group fitness classes and working with one‑on‑one personal training clients, I felt called to begin our own business as a family.
Our Heart for Every Body
It is my greatest desire that all of my clients and their families experience the love of God through our programs. I want them to know how wonderfully and uniquely made they are, and that they can accomplish anything through His strength in them. Every individual has value, and we will call out the strengths and abilities in each person —enabling and empowering them to live with purpose.
